The public sector headhunter on Tuesday selected Rajeev Kumar Chauhan for the post of Director (Projects), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL). Currently, he serves as Executive Director, PGCIL.
Subject to requisite clearances he may succeed the outgoing Director (Projects) Prabhakar Singh retiring in June this year.
Altogether eight candidates had appeared before the board for selection interview namely; Sanjeev Singh (ED, PGCIL); Deep Chandra Joshi (ED, PGCIL); Atul Trivedi (ED, PGCIL); Deepak Kumar Singh (ED, PGCIL); Rajeev Kumar Chauhan (ED, PGCIL); Abhay Choudhary (ED, PGCIL); T S C Bosh (ED, REC) and Govind Singh Bhati (ED, REC).
