Indianmandarins has reliably
learnt that the Department of Revenue on Thursday conducted interview for two vacant
posts of Member, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). Reportedly, ten
candidates were shortlisted of which Vishwanath Jha (PCCIT, Kolkata) and Mrs Kavita
Jha (PCCIT, Guwahati) did not appear for interview. It may be underlined that as per
previous practices three candidates used to be shortlisted for one vacant post of Member (1:3)
but this time the ratio was 1:5 i.e. five candidates were shortlisted for each vacant
post. Candidates selected would replace Ms
Neena Kumar (IRS IT:1982), Member (Administration) and Aditya Vikram (IRS
