R. M. Singh, chairman of the Assam Police Housing Corporation, has been transferred and posted as the Director General of Home Guards and Commandant General of Civil Defence while Anil Kr. Jha, Special Director General (CID) has been transferred and posted as the chairman of Assam Police Housing Corporation vice R.M. Singh.

K. Sinha Kashyap, Additional Director General of Police (T&AP), is promoted to officiate in level 16 of the pay matrix and made the Special Director General (T&AP).

Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Additional Director General of Police (Border), is promoted to officiate in level 16 of the pay matrix, and has been promoted as the Special Director General (Border), Assam.

I.R. Bishnoi, Additional Director General of Police (Administration), has been transferred and posted as the Additional Director General of Police (CID), Assam while Harmeet Singh, Additional Director General of Police (Security), has been transferred and posted as the Additional Director General of Police (Administration), vice I.R. Bishnoi. He is also made to hold the additional charge of ADGP (M&L) and ADGP (Security), in addition to his own duties.

On repatriation from central deputation, Deepak Kr Kedia has been posted as Inspector General of Police (L&O) against existing vacancy.
