Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Union Government has ordered that S S Das, an officer of Indian Trade Service, be compulsorily retired. Currently, Das serves as Development Commissioner, Mihan-SEZ in Maharashtra. He took over as DC in November 2017 and his scheduled retirement is in 2021.
Reportedly, the proposal against termination was issued over a week ago. Later it was placed before a review committee for procedural review which will submit its report in the third week of this month.
