There has been a murmuring in top bureaucratic circles that an IAS officer of Karnataka cadre has fallen into the trap of her wrong-doings that pertained to corruption and land scam when she served in Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, the CVC has written to the Government of Karnataka seeking initiation of action against the 1981 batch IAS officer who repatriated to cadre state in February 2014 after serving in the rank of additional Secretary. Having exactly two years on hand to attain superannuation age, the officer seems to have been on the verge of paying a heavy price.
