New Delhi (19.05.2022): If some well-placed sources are to be believed Durga Shanker Mishra’s name is ahead among other prospective names for the coveted position of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi; a post which has virtually fallen vacant with the resignation of Anil Baijal. 
Though one can’t rule out the possibility of surprises. 
It may be underlined that Mishra's repatriation to cadre state citing his proposed appointment as state CS as a reason for repatriation merely a day ahead of superannuation was a surprise of its kind.
