As against the reports published yesterday the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is reportedly, showing the signs of reluctance over the relieving of Sanjiv Chaturvedi from the centre, the prospective OSD to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal had made written request to the centre to relieve Chaturvedi from centre as he was keen to appoint him as his OSD and the Chief of Anti Corruption Wing. Media reports had said that Prakash Javdekar had instructed to move the file immediately whereas the file is reported to have kept aside with the remark reading 'discuss'.
Those who know the bureaucracy from inside are now abuzz that in the aftermath of Delhi CAT decision in Chaturvedi's case (change of cadre from Haryana to Uttarakhand) has made the centre furious. Contrary to the ongoing buzz the Delhi establishment is optimistic of PM's assurance to Kejriwal for full cooperation from the centre. Recently, Modi Government had shown liberal approach towards whistle-blower officer Durgashakti Nagpal by relaxing the norms to bring her at centre.
