Allahabad HC gets 07 new Judges, 76 posts still vacant

allahabad-hc-gets-07-new-judges-76-posts-still-vacant The long awaited appointment of seven new Judges of Allahabad High Court takes places two days back but 76 posts of Judges still remain vacant. As against the total sanctioned strength of 160 (76 permanent & 84 additional) altogether Judges 83 posts (17 permanent & 66 additional) of Judges were vacant. Even after the Allahabad HC finds 07 news Additional Judges 59 posts of Additional Judges are still vacant whereas 17 posts of Permanent Judges have already been lying vacant. The newly appointed Additional Judges who took oath are;   Justice Pratyush Kumar (Graduated in Law in 1977, appointed in P.C.S. (J) in 1979, promoted in Higher Judicial Service in 1999 and promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2011).         Justice Raghvendra Kumar (Graduated in Law in 1976, appointed in P.C.S. (J) in 1979, promoted in Higher Judicial Service in 1999 and promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2011).         Justice Pramod Kumar Srivastava (Graduated in Law in 1976, appointed in P.C.S. (J) in 1980, promoted in Higher Judicial Service in 1999 and promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2011).       Justice Vinod Kumar Misra (Graduated in Law in 1977, appointed in P.C.S. (J) in 1980 and promoted in Higher Judicial Service in 1999, promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2011)         Justice Shamsher Bahadur Singh (Graduated in Law in 1977, appointed in P.C.S. (J) in 1979, promoted in Higher Judicial Service in 1999 & promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2011)
