Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Centre’s decision on next CISF DG will be administratively seamless and politically correct as well. 

Another section of sources considers Daljit Singh Chaudhary (IPS: 1990: UP), ADG in CRPF, as one of the few front runners for the coveted post. 

It is also heard that in the event of a woman IPS officer becoming next DG of CISF Rashmi Shukla (IPS: 1988: MH), the incumbent DG of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), may be laterally moved to CISF. But contrary to this Rashmi Shukla’s name has been doing rounds for some other key assignment next month.
