Lucknow (10.08.2021): The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has transferred over a dozen IPS officers, including the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and SP of nine districts including Gorakhpur. These officers included:

• Dinesh Kumar P (IPS: 2009: UP) SSP Gorakhpur has been shifted to Pilibhit in the same capacity
• Vipin Tanda (IPS: 2012: UP) SP Ballia has been appointed as SP Gorakhpur
• Rajkaran Nayyar (IPS: 2012: UP) has been posted as the SP Ballia
• Ankit Mittal (IPS: 2014: UP) has been shifted to Rampur as SP
• Avinash Pandey (IPS: 2014: UP) has been moved from Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Prayagraj to SP Unnao
• Neeraj Kumar Jadaun (IPS: 2015: UP) has been posted as SP Baghpat
• Nikhil Pathak (IPS: 2016: UP) has been posted as SP Lalitpur
• Deepak Bhukar (IPS: 2016: UP) has been transferred to Hapur as SP
• Dhaval Jaiswal (IPS: 2016: UP) has been transferred to Chitrakoot as SP
• Shagun Gautam (IPS: 2010: UP) will now be taking over as SP Vigilance
• Suresh Rao Kulkarni (IPS: 2008: UP) has been posted as SP Intelligence
