UP: 50 BJP leaders to be accommodated in boards and corporations

New Delhi (30.12.2022): After the recent meeting of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, talks are abuzz in the political circles that the UP government may accommodate BJP leaders in over 50 boards and corporations in the state. Leaders, who had worked hard during Assembly polls in March this year, are likely to be rewarded. By placing its mid-ranking and regional leaders in these important posts, the BJP wants to send out a clear message that the party accommodates its workers who helped ensure its victory in the Assembly polls. Grapevine is abuzz that the PM wants this to happen to ensure loyalty of these leaders and support ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
