The UP government has shifted three IAS officers of Principal Secretary rank. Principal Secretary (Rural Engineering, Sports and Youth Affairs) Mahesh Kumar Gupta was divested of the Sports and Youth Affairs and these departments were given to Anita Bhatnagar Jain, who was earlier Principal Secretary (Revenue).
Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) and MD of UP Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Arvind Kumar has been posted as the new Principal Secretary (Revenue).
