As Indianmandarins had reported earlier (06 June 2016) 1983 batch IAS officer Bhaskar Khulbe appointed as Secretary, PMO. Khulbe currently serves as Additional Secretary, PMO. The post has been lying vacant since September 2014 after R Ramanujam completed his extended tenure on September 30, 2014. In his new stint as Secretary he has replaced R Ramanujam. With this appointment Khulbe joined the league, followed by Amarjit Sinha and C K Mishra, in Modi regime to be elevated in-situ as Secretary. Prior to the appointment of these three the NaMo administration appointed none as secretary in-situ. Indianmandarins, in its report, had mentioned that 'immediately after the 1983 batch IAS empanelment takes place, Khulbe would be elevated (in-situ) as Secretary (PMO) vice R Ramanujam.'
