NEW DELHI (20.09.2025): In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared the empanelment of thirty six officers from IAS, IPS, IRS and various other Central services for holding the Joint Secretary or equivalent rank posts in the Government of India. 
The newly empanelled officers, drawn from a wide range of services, batches, and cadres, are now eligible for postings at the Joint Secretary level. The move is expected to fill key positions across several government ministries and departments. 
The names of these officers are as follows:-
Indian Administrative Service (IAS):
