New Delhi (11.04.2023): Altogether nine candidates are expected to appear before the selection board (PESB) for the post of Chairman, SAIL scheduled to be held on Wednesday. The Chairman post is all set to fall vacant following the retirement of Ms Soma Mondal on April 30. It may be underlined that Ms Mondal may take charge as Member, PESB days before her retirement. Candidates who will be trying their luck on April 12 include;  

Anirban Dasgupta (Director in-charge, Bhilai Steel Plant); Amarendu Prakash (Director in-charge of Bokaro Steel Plant); Brijendra Pratap Singh (Director in-charge of Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants) ; Amitava Mukherjee (Director, Finance, NMDC Ltd); Vejendla Srinivasa Chakravarthy (Director Commercial, SAIL); Jagdish Arora (ED, SAIL); Rakesh Tumane (Director, Finance, MOIL Ltd); Yatendra Kumar (IRSEE:1988 ), Principal Chief Materials Manager, Ministry of Railways); Ashok Kumar Verma (IRSS:1987), Additional GM, Ministry of Railways).
