Rajasthan: Over 100 IAS officers reshuffled

New Delhi (06.09.2024): After a complete ban on any transfer and posting in Rajasthan, the state government enacted a major transfer of around 108 IAS officers in one go, including the divisional commissioners of Jaipur and Banswara besides the collectors of 13 districts, including Jaipur.
Around 98 officers have been transferred while 10 IAS officers, who were awaiting posting order, have got the new posting. Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Department Akhil Arora (IAS: 1993: RJ) and Principal Secretary of Home Department Anand Kumar (IAS: 1994: RJ) have not been changed. Arora was also the ACS of the finance department during the Congress rule. Kumar has been in the same department since 2022.

Some of the names of officers are as follows:
  • Shubhra Singh (IAS: 1989: RJ) has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. 
  • Shreya Guha (IAS: 1994: RJ) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of the Rural Development Department in Jaipur. 
  • Bhaskar Atmaram (IAS: 1995: RJ) has been made the Principal Secretary of Public Health Engineering and Ground Water Department in Jaipur.
  • Rajesh Kumar Yadav (IAS: 1996: RJ) has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Health Department. 
  • Hemant Kumar Gera (IAS: 1997: RJ) has been made the Chairperson of the Revenue Board in Ajmer.
  • Gayatri A Rathore (IAS: 1997: RJ) has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Medical, Health & Family Welfare and Panchayati Raj. 
  • Vaibhav Galriya (IAS: 1997: RJ) has been made Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department. 
  • T  Ravikant (IAS: 1998: RJ) has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Mines and Petroleum Department. 
  • Subir Kumar (IAS: 1998: RJ) has been made Principal Secretary of the Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution. 
  • Bhawani Singh Detha (IAS: 1999: RJ) has been appointed as a member of the Revenue Board in Ajmer. 
  • Vikas Sitaramji (IAS: 1999: RJ) has been appointed as Chairperson of the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal.
  • Manju Rajpal (IAS: 2000: RJ) has been made Secretary of the Cooperative Development Department and Registration.
  • Naveen Jain (IAS: 2001: RJ) has been appointed Secretary of the Finance Department. 
  • Krishan Kant Pathak (IAS: 2001: RJ) is now the Secretary of the Personnel Department.
  • Bhinu Prakash Eturu (IAS: 2003: RJ) has been appointed Secretary of the Tribal Area Development Department.
  • Neeraj Kumar Pawan (IAS: 2003: RJ) is now Secretary of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department. 
  • Ravi Jain (IAS: 2004: RJ) has been appointed Secretary of the Tourism, Arts, Literature, Culture, and Archaeology Department, as well as Director General of the Jawahar Kala Kendra. 
  • Sumit Sharma (IAS: 2004: RJ) is now Secretary of the Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairy Development Department.
  • Ravi Kumar Surpur (IAS: 2004: RJ) has been appointed Secretary of the Finance (Revenue) Department.
