New Delhi (05.01.2024): As Indianmandarins had reported in the first week of December last year ("ALSO READ" below) Railway Board gets three new Members; seven General Managers rank officers.
The list of newly appointed Railway Board members (Apex Scale, Level 17) goes as follows:
- Seema Kumar (IRTS: 1986) was appointed Member (Operations & Business Development); a post that fell vacant after Jaya Varma Sinha made it as the first Chairman & CEO of Railway Board. Currently, Seema Kumar is working as Additional Member (Catering & Tourism).
- Naveen Gulati (IRSEE:1986) was appointed as Director General (HR), Railway Board vice Mohit Sinha (IRAS:1986) who retired on 30.11.2023. Currently, Gulati is Member (Traction & Rolling Stock).
- Satish Kumar (IRSME:1986), currently GM of North Central Railway (Prayagraj), was appointed as Member (Traction & Rolling Stock). He replaces Naveen Gulati in Railway Board.
Further, seven senior IRMS officers got fresh posting as GM, Secretary and DG (Level) posts;
Ravinder Goyal- GM, North Central Railway
Ashok Kumar Verma- GM, CORE (Prayagraj)
Arvind Srivastava- GM, South Western Railway (Hubli)
U Subba Rao- GM, Integral Coach Factory (Chennai)
Milind K Deouskar (Secretary, Railway Board)- GM, Eastern Railway (Kolkata)
Roopa Srinivasan- DG, National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara
Aruna Nayar- Secretary, Railway Board
