Speculation has been rife ever since former Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla (Retd IAS: 1984: AM) was appointed as Governor of crises ridden Manipur. New Delhi (10.02.2025): With Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh resigning from the post after two years of turmoil in the state, it is likely that President’s Rule may be imposed in the North-Eastern state.
