New Delhi (24.12.2024): The President of India has appointed two new governors and has reshuffled another two. Former Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla (Retd IAS: 1984: AM) has been appointed as Governor of crises ridden state Manipur.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Odisha Governor Raghubar Das has been replaced with Hari Babu Kambhampati.

The new appointments go like this:

Former Union Minister General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new Governor of Mizoram.
Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the incumbent Governor of Bihar, has now been appointed as the Governor of Kerala.
Arif Mohammed Khan, who was serving as the Governor of Kerala, has now been appointed as the Governor of Bihar.
Hari Babu Kambhampati has been appointed Odisha Governor replacing Raghubar Das.
