New Delhi (04.010.2025): The Union Home Ministry has appointed H Rajesh Prasad (IAS: 1995) as Chief Secretary of Chandigarh. Currently, he is working in Jammu & Kashmir; now a part of the joint AGMUT Cadre that includes J&K and Ladakh. Prasad replaces Mandip Singh Brar (IAS) who replaced Rajeev Verma on 01 October 2025 following Verma’s appointment as Chief Secretary of Delhi.
Further, the MHA transferred Ankur Garg (IAS: 2003: AGMUT) from Arunachal Pradesh as Advisor to the Administrator, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH&DD).
