Mumbai (11.06.2023): Even at this age somersaults of Sharad Pawar stun not only his political opponents but his own men including his nephew Ajit Pawar who got many reality bites from the time of joining hands with BJP and still alleged hobnobbing with the party while being an NCP legislator. Couple of weeks ago, he offered to step down but he was forced to continue and now appointed his daughter Supriya Sule and senior leader Praful Patel as Working Presidents of the NCP with Sule being in charge of Maharashtra. Lesson for everyone from his supporters, detractors, united opposition and to the ruling dispensation too. The message is clear that he is the boss and his daughter will succeed him and the message for the united opposition is that Ajit Pawar is a non-entity in NCP. This is his brand equity which makes him indispensable for unity against the BJP.
