Chandigarh (02.02.2023): The controversy does not seem to die down as first Kuldeep Singh Chahal (IPS: 2009: PB) was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre on December 13, 2022 from Chandigarh then he takes casual leave on Republic Day to allegedly to avoid saluting UT administrator and now the CBI starts a preliminary enquiry against him for allegedly the charges of misconduct.
The probe is being conducted by the CBI personnel posted at Zonal headquarters, Sector 30, Chandigarh. The probe against Chahal was initiated following a communication from the office of Governor, Punjab-cum-UT Administrator, Banwarilal Purohit.
