Nisha James transferred after complaint; to face departmental enquiry

Bengaluru (21.10.2022): The Karnataka government has transferred Nisha James (IPS: 2013: KT) after a complaint was made against her by several police personnel alleging harassment at the workplace. M A Saleem, Director General of Police (DGP), Administration, issued the transfer order on behalf of DGP Praveen Sood.James has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Internal Security Division, and will be replaced by B M Laxmi Prasad (IPS: 2014: KT). A departmental inquiry will be initiated against James over the allegations levelled against her.Also Read:
