His sketch of Dr TV Somanathan (IAS:1987:TN), Union Secretary, Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance is really exquisite but he has many in his studio waiting for a couple of appreciative eyes. To name a few, Sampooran Singh better known as ‘Gulzar’ and Elon Musk are two other geniuses in their respective fields who too captured Verma’s imagination to make their way to the canvas.
