New Delhi (25.10.2022): Within a week after his repatriation from Central Deputation Amit Yadav (IAS:1991:UT) was appointed as the Chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). He replaces Bhupinder Singh Bhalla (IAS:1990:UT) on his appointment as OSD in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). It may be underlined that prior to becoming NDMC Chairman BS Bhalla too worked in the Ministry of Commerce as Additional Secretary. Prior to this Amit Yadav served in the Government of India as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce and Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
