New Delhi (23.03.2021): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday cleared the appointments in the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) for a period of three years. Dr Nimaljeet Singh Kalsi (Retd IAS:1984:PB) was made Chairperson, NCVET. Presently, he is working as Chairman, Police Complaint Authority, Punjab, UT Secretariat. Further, Ms Vinita Aggarwal (Retd IES:1985) and Dr Neena Pahuja (Retd.) were appointed to the post of Executive Member, NCVET. Formerly, Vinita Aggarwal was DG, National Skill Development Agency, and Senior Economic Adviser in Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship whereas Dr Pahuja worked as DG, Education and Research Network (ERNET) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
