Maj Gen Kanwal Kumar empanelled as Lt Gen rank post:-  The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of Major General Kanwal Kumar for promotion to the rank of Lt. General in the Corps of Army Aviation. He will replace Lt General P K Bharali (DG, Army Aviation) 01 December 2017. Lt General Bharali is scheduled to retire on 31 November 2016.
