Thiruvananthapuram (31.07.2023): The Kerala government has enacted a major reshuffle of IPS officers with immediate effect. The names of these officers are as follows:
- K Padmakumar (IPS: 1989: KL) has been transferred and posted as Director General, Fire & Rescue Services.
- Dr Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi (IPS: 1991: KL) has been placed at the disposal of the Home Department for being appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, Kerala Police Housing & Construction Corporation Limited on State deputation.
- T K Vinod Kumar (IPS: 1992: KL) has been posted as Director, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau.
- Manoj Abraham (IPS: 1994: KL) has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence.
- M R Ajithkumar (IPS: 1995: KL), Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, has been given full additional charge of Additional Director General of Police, Armed Police Battalions.
- Balram Kumar Upadhyay (IPS: 1997: KL) IPS (KL: 1997) has been posted as Director General of Prisons & Correctional Services.
- H Venkatesh (IPS: 1998: KL), Additional Director General of Police, Crimes, has been given full additional charges of the post of Inspector General of Police, Cyber Operations and Inspector General of Police, State Crime Records Bureau.
- P Prakash IPS (IPS: 2004: KL), Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Kerala State Human Rights Commission.
- K Sethu Raman (IPS: 2004: KL) has been posted as Inspector General of Police, North Zone.
- Neeraj Kumar Gupta (IPS: 2005: KL) has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Headquarters.
- A Akbar (IPS: 2005: KL) has been posted as Inspector General of Police & Commissioner of Police, Kochi City.
- Putta Vimaladitya (IPS: 2008: KL) has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anti-Terrorist Squad.
- Thomson Jose (IPS: 2009: KL) IPS (KL: 2009), will be reporting to the cadre on 01.08.2023 after being repatriated from Central deputation, has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kannur Range.
