New Delhi (21.10.2024): More trouble seems to be brewing for former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as a US-based doctor Munish Kumar Raizada, an old friend of Kejriwal during Anna movement, may take him on in February Assembly elections.

Munish is winding up his work in the US to contest Delhi Assembly elections against Arvind Kejriwal and has floated his own political party – called Bhartiya Liberal Party. Munish will hit the social media to uproot corruption prevailing in Aam Admi Party. Munish claims that he knows internal dynamics of AAP and so he can effectively penetrate inside it and connect to large number of volunteers. 

The Congress and the BJP is yet to finalise their strategy as to who will contest against Kejriwal from New Delhi assembly seat. The AAP Party chief has retained this seat three times. The tenure of Delhi Assembly ends on February 23, 2025. Delhi is expecting an interesting contest in the Assembly elections in February when the AAP, Congress and BJP will fight a fierce battle to retain power.
