New Delhi (21.10.2024): Was it utility that had brough former MP CM and incumbent Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to Delhi from Bhopal or his growing stature was unsettling many in the party? But the way he has been entrusted with the most troubled ministry and now PM setting up a panel led by him to review implementation schemes announced by the PM and in the Union Budget, subordinate legislation and other infrastructure projects, it appears Chauhan is a man to reckon with. Reportedly the first meeting of the panel had already taken place on October 18 with all Union secretaries of GoI including Railway Board Chairman attending it. The meeting will be held every month in PMO.
