Special Director (ED) Karnail Singh (IPS:1984:UT) has been appointed as ADG, NIA (National Investigative Agency). With Karnal Singh's appointment with NIA one more post of Spl Director, ED has fallen vacant whereas appointment orders of another Spl Director, ED is yet to be issued for which reportedly D K Gupta (ADG, ED) has been considered.
