Ashwini Joshi (IAS:2006:MH) may be appointed the state's CIDCO’s new Joint Managing Director, following her abrupt exit from the Excise Commissioner’s post last week. Although the order for transferring her to the post of Project Director, Mumbai Districts AIDS Control Society, has already been issued, she has not joined her new post. This has triggered speculations that the CMO may revise the transfer orders and post her in CIDCO. Her exit from the Excise Department was widely seen as a fallout of her clash with two senior ministers in the Fadnavis government.
