The Government of India on Tuesday approved another three-month extension in the service of incumbent chief secretary Bharat Bhushan Vyas (IAS:1986:JK) whose extended tenure was coming to end on February 28. Vyas, who shares cordial relation with top leadership of all political parties, has served as principal secretary to three chief ministers. Vyas was scheduled to retire on November 30 but he got fresh lease of life for three months ending 28 February 2018. His second extension will start from March 01 and he continue as chief secretary till May 31.
