of the post of CVO Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL), Delhi for a period of six
months from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till the
appointment of a regular CVO in BSNL. Somnath
Ghosh (IFS: 1997), presently Consul General, Consulate General of India,
Chicago, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Malaysia.

- Prof Umesh V Waghmare, President & Professor, Theoretical Sciences Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bengaluru, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Science & Technology up to date of attaining the age of 60 years.
- Tenure of Vikram Misri (IFS: 1989), Foreign Secretary, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 14.07.2026 i.e. up to 14.07.2027.
- Tenure of Amit Shukla (IFoS: 1999: TR), Joint Secretary, Department of Rural Development, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 01.06.2026.
- Sachin Mittal (IPoS: 2000) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Lokpal under the Department of Personnel & Training for a tenure of five years.
- Tenure of Dr N Kalaiselvi as Director General, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-cum-Secretary, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research has been for a further period beyond 07.08.2026 till the date of her superannuation i.e. 28.02.2027.
