IRCON has come forward to provide additional financial assistance of Rs 15.5 crore to PM CARES Fund for fighting COVID-19 which is in addition to Rs 5 crore assistance announced earlier. With Company’s total contribution to PM-CARES Fund now amounts to Rs 20.5 crore including the contribution of Rs 51 lakh by the employees. IRCON CMD S K Chaudhary said, “Covid-19 is one of the biggest challenges that our country is facing and it has been unprecedented in its severity. We at IRCON, has always been at the forefront in times of need for the country. The biggest need at this time is to be united and strengthen the hands of the Government of India. We as a responsible company have been assessing the situation and have decided to enhance our contribution.” IRCON, through the years has been partnering with the Government towards nation-building.
