Gujarat reshuffles 18 IPS officers

The Gujarat government has transferred 18 IPS officers and drafted three new IPS officers. It also transferred 32 deputy superintendents of police in the state. In the reshuffle, many officers were transferred to and from Ahmedabad city.

 

Additional Commissioner of Police Sector-2 Ashok Kumar Yadav has been transferred as deputy inspector general of police, Bhavnagar range. M S Bharada, SP of Kutch-West has been promoted as DIG and appointed as Addl CP.

N N Komar, a 1996 batch officer has been transferred to the vacant post of IGP, Law and Order, Gandhinagar. Komar will also hold the additional charge of IGP (P and M), Gandhinagar.

 

Khursheed Ahmed has been transferred to the vacant post of JCP (HQ) in Ahmedabad city. RJ Savani, IGP (Intelligence-1) will be the new principal of police training school in Vadodara.

 

Wabang Jamir who was on central deputation will replace Savani apart from holding additional charge of Principal of Karai police academy.

 

Maninder Pawar, SP of Surendranagar, was promoted and appointed as deputy inspector general of CID (crime), Gandhinagar. SP (Operation) ATS Himanshu Shukla was promoted as DIG (Operation) in the same dept.

 

Prem Vir Singh has been appointed as Addl CP (Special branch). Bipin Ahire, has come back to the city and made DCP of Zone-6 replacing Saurabh Tolambia who has been transferred as SP Kutch-West.
