Grid Controller of India: Porwal selected as Director, System Operation

New Delhi (21.03.2023): The Public-sector Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Tuesday selected and recommended Rajiv Kumar Porwal for the post of Director (System Operation) of Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India), formerly known as POSOCO. Altogether, ten candidates appeared before the selection board of which six candidates were from Grid-India, two candidates from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and one each from NTPC Limited and Indian Ordnance Factory Health Service.Currently he is serving as Executive Director in Grid-India; a state owned company, under the Ministry of Power, which is responsible for operating the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) and the five Regional Load Despatch Centre (RLDCs).
