New Delhi (14.11.2024): Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches on the business empire of lottery king Santiago Martin, who shelled out a whopping Rs 1,368 crore in Electoral Bonds. There are multiple FIRs and complaints against him for lottery fraud, sale of illegal lotteries etc. ED is conducting searches at around 20 locations in Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Ludhiana and Kolkata etc. Recently, the Tamil Nadu Police had decided to close the primary FIR against him, and a few others and a lower court accepted this police plea. said that only 50 crore belonged to him and rest of the money has a story that
only the agency knows.
