Lucknow (14.11.2024): IAS officers in Uttar Pradesh are going to get New Year gift from the Yogi Adityanath government as over 115 officers are likely to be promoted. Officers belonging to 2000 batch would become principal secretaries while officers of the 2009 batch would be promoted to the secretary rank. DMs of many districts are also included in the promotion list, who will become secretaries after being promoted. There are about 40 IAS officers of 2009 batch who would get promotion from the rank of Special Secretary and DM to the rank of Secretary and Commissioner. Among these, there are 5 IAS officers who currently hold the reins of different districts as District Magistrates.
