The Delhi Police on Wednesday, December 13, witnessed a top-level rejig with the appointment of three senior IPS officers as Special Police Commissioner. Virender Singh Chahal (IPS:1991: UT) was appointed as Special CP (Security). Currently, he is serving as Special CP (Operations). Satish Golcha (IPS:1992: UT) was promoted and appointed the Special Commissioner of Police (Vigilance). Earlier he served as Joint Commissioner of Police (Western Range). M M Oberoi (IPS:1992: UT), was also promoted and appointed the Special Police Commissioner (Special Cell & Technology Cell). Earlier he served as Joint CP (Special Cell).
