New Delhi (13.03.2024): Over 12,000 Central Secretariate Services (CSS) cadre officers will take out a peace march in black clothes on March 13, 2024 in North Block. Officials of the CSS cadre will take out the march from North Block Gate no 8 at 1 pm with an appeal to the PMO to take immediate action on the cadre review report which is lying with the government for more than 1.5 years.
The CSS officers’ forum said that if demands are not met then the secretariat officers are prepared for non-cooperation movement. Apart from cadre review, many issues like time bound promotion, NFU, ban on deputation, CSS Day are pending for the past 10 years. The Central Secretariat is one of the oldest organized services in the country and is considered the backbone of the Central Government, which plays an important role in the formulation and implementation of government policy.
