Chandra is new CEO, National Compensatory Afforestation

7266New Delhi (28.06.2021): The NaMo administration on Monday appointed Subhash Chandra (IFS:1988:AGMUT) to the post of Chief Executive Officer and Member Secretary (CEO & MS) in the National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (NCAF&PA) for a period of 05 years. He replaces AN Sharan (IFS:1985:BH) retiring this month-end. Presently, Chandra is working as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of Goa. Earlier, he also worked as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines (Govt of India) and DIG, Forests & Forest Policy in the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change.
