New Delhi (18.08.2025): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has appointed two new Joint Directors with the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). Both officers, who were previously serving as Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) within the agency, have been elevated to their new roles.
Kuldeep Dwivedi (IPS: 2005: JH) has been appointed as a Joint Director. His tenure in the position will last until January 17, 2026, marking the completion of his five-year central deputation.
C Venkata Subba Reddy (IPS: 2007: AM) has also been named a Joint Director. His appointment is for the duration of his approved deputation, which extends for a total of five years until October 29, 2029.
The appointments are part of the ongoing process to strengthen the leadership of the country's premier investigative agency.
