New Delhi (28.08.2024): It will be a crucial but probably the last meeting of Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba (IAS: 1982: JH), the longest serving Cabinet Secretary, with Union Council of Ministers this evening at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan. Gauba will demit office on August 30, 2024 completing five long years in the office, a rare feat for any bureaucrat. Many Secretaries will make presentation in this meeting focusing their ministry's plan for accomplishing 'Viksit Bharat' dream. It may be underlined that following his signing off from the office the Cabinet Secretary-designate and OSD Dr TV Somanathan (IAS: 1987: TN) will take over the charge from Rajiv Gauba as new Cabinet Secretary.
