New Delhi (10.12.2024): Though the BJP is far behind as far as announcement of names for Assembly elections are concerned but the way things are being discussed, the party may field senior leaders of the party in Delhi. The list is very long from Union ministers like Harsh Vardhan to Meenakshi Lekhi to former MPs like Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma to Hans Raj Hans. Former president Satish Upadhyay and incumbent president Virender Sachdeva too are interested to contest Assembly elections. Congress turncoat Arvinder Singh Lovely wants to contest from his original constituency Gandhi Nagar. Former Union minister Smriti Irani has also become very active in Delhi but there is no clarity about her role so far.  But the most interesting name is that Nupur Sharma may yet again be fielded in Delhi.
