In case he makes it as JS, P&NG, he would replace Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS:1993:MT) who previously looked after international cooperation & gas marketing desk as JS. Jindal, a native of Punjab and alumni of Thapar Institute of Engineering (Punjab) was also a topper in Indian Administrative Service (1995 batch). Presently he is serving in Tripura as Chief Electoral Officer.
