- Vishvajit Sahay (IDAS: 1990) was appointed as Secretary (Defence Finance). He will take over from Raj Kumar Arora (IDAS: 1990) on his retirement on April 30. Currently, he is the Chief Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).
- In relaxation of the provisions of FR 56 (d) Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty gets a one-year extension as Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) beyond April 11, 2026.
- Rahul Pachori (IRSEE: 2010) was appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the MoS (I/C) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Jayant Chaudhary) at the level of Director for a period upto 14.01.2028 i.e. for the maximum admissible limit of 7 years away from the cadre. Currently, he is Director, D/o School Education & Literacy.
- Dr Santanu Kumar Agrahari (IAS: 2012: JH) was appointed as Director in the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) under the Department of Pharmaceuticals. Currently, he is working as Private Secretary to the MoS for Jal Shakti & Railways (V. Somanna).
- Amit Satija (IAS: 2008: AGMUT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Eighth Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) under the Department of Expenditure for an overall tenure of five years upto 16.04.2028. Presently he is working as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production.
- Niraj Kumar Gayagi (IDAS: 1997) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Eighth Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) under the Department of Expenditure for an overall tenure of seven years upto 06.04.2027. Presently he is working as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice.
- Vijyendra Kumar (IRS IT: 2007) was appointed as Joint Director, CBI till the completion of deputation tenure upto 19.07.2026. Currently, he is DIG, CBI.
- The tenure of Anil Kumar as interim CMD of the National Divyangjan Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC) was extended for a period of six months ending September 11, 2026 (w.e.f. 12.03.2026) or until a regular appointment is made. Currently, he is CGM (Joint Secretary level) at NDFDC.
- The central deputation tenure of Lily Pandeya (IRPS: 1998) as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture was extended for a period of two years beyond May 31, 2026.
- Bishnu Charan Mallick (IAS: 2007: RJ) gets extension in tenure as the Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) for Rajasthan under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
