Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that three IPS officers may shortly be appointed as Additional Director Generals in BSF, CRPF, and CISF. It may be mentioned that three IPS officers from the 1986 batch have been waiting for the last couple of months for their turn to get the ADG berths. Of the three, V H Rao Deshmukh (IPS:1986:JH) was on Thursday appointed (in-situ) ADG in BPR&D vice Parvez Hayat (IPS:1984:JH) whereas two officers Naveen Agrawal (IPS:1986: JK) and Pradeep Kapur (IPS:1986: OR) may expect their turn in the next lot of appointment. Agrawal is heading National Anti Doping Agency since June 2016 whereas Kapur is serving with NTRO - both IG rank posts. In addition, a 1987 batch IPS officer, too, could expect to be appointed in one of the three CPMFs. In case it happens, it will be an account opening for the 1987 batch of IPS in terms of appointment to ADG rank post.
