New Delhi (26.12.2024): Tenure of the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), assigned to Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited, has been extended ex-post facto for a further period of one-year w.e.f. 20.11.2024, or till appointment of regular incumbent to the post.However, the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on November 14, 2024 selected Amitava Mukherjee for the post of CMD, NMDC. At present, Amitava Mukherjee is holding additional charge of the CMD since superannuation of Sumit Deb on 31.01.2023.ALSO READ

New Delhi (26.12.2024): Tenure of the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), assigned to Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited, has been extended ex-post facto for a further period of one-year w.e.f. 20.11.2024, or till appointment of regular incumbent to the post.
