The NaMo administration is expected to finalize and announce the successor of Dr Kshatrapati Shivaji (IAS:1986:MH) in the Asian Development Bank. If some well-placed sources are to be believed The NaMo administration is considering an IRS officer for the post of ED, ADB. It may be mentioned that ADB picked two senior officials, with the concurrence of Govt of India, in the last five months. Nilaya Mitash (IAS:1991:KN) was picked for the post of Principal Operations Coordination Specialist (Regional Cooperation) in March 2020 whereas it announced, last month, Ashok Lavasa (Retd IAS:1981:HY) as Vice Chairperson, ADB. India is represented through an Executive Director in ADB; an international financial institution that aspires for an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific.
